💻Installation
This guide walks you through and teaches you the basics of how to set-up our plugins for the first time on your Minecraft Server.
Step 1) Upload the plugin
Upload the plugin to your Minecraft Server's plugins folder. This is located in /home/container/plugins/.
You can locate the path through your server panel's built-in file manager, or with your SFTP credentials. Make sure you also have TideLib on your server as well otherwise none of our plugins will work. We build all of our plugins off of our custom library as mentioned earlier in Getting Started
Step 2) Restart the server
After you've uploaded the plugins restart the server and wait for the plugins to initialize and create their files inside of your plugin folder. Now, if you are using any one of our free plugins then you are done! Congratulations! But for our supportive and loyal clients, there's just one more step.
Step 3) Insert License Key, and restart one more time.
So, if you've made it this far you obviously have a paid plugin of ours. We'd like to take this quick moment to thank you for supporting TechTide and helping us provide you, and so many others with the best solutions possible!
So don't be scared! I know I know, the plugin disabled you might even have an error in console from when it did. That's completely normal. You just need to input your license key.
Head over to your newly installed plugin's config folder. Inside of the folder you should find a file labeled license.txt
. Now all you have to do is open it, and replace the text inside with the license key provided to you at the time of purchase.
Restart your server after inputting the license key, and you're now done with the initial installation of your plugin! Congratulations, and happy configuring!
